Turnaround Times
By placing an order with Curio Candy, you agree to our current production timelines and refund policy.
Standard Turnaround
Our standard production time is 10–14 business days.
- Busy Periods: This timeframe may be extended during peak seasons (such as Christmas or Easter) or if there are delays with material suppliers. These external delays are outside our control and do not qualify for refunds or cancellations.
- Inclusions: This timeframe excludes weekends, Sydney (NSW) public holidays, and shipping transit time.
- Studio Leave: Scheduled closures are announced in advance on our website banner and social channels, with production times adjusted accordingly.
Proofs
For custom commissions, you will receive your digital design proof via email.
- Timing: Proofs are typically sent between one week after ordering and the day before your order is due for completion during busy periods.
- Responsibility: Your turnaround time may be delayed if you do not provide the correct information or high-quality files (SVG) required for us to draw the proof.
Technical & Personal Realities
As a small, family-run studio, we work hard to ship orders as quickly as possible. However, the nature of bespoke manufacturing means unexpected delays can occur:
- Machinery: In the event of a mechanical breakdown (e.g. 3D printer or laser issues), production may be delayed.
- Personal Emergencies: Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances such as illness or family emergencies may impact our schedule.
We will always communicate with you as soon as possible if a significant delay affects your order.
